Liptovská Osada is a central village. Its visitors can visit the well known roadhouse called Jánošíková Koliba. According to its geographical position, Liptovská Osada offers many great possibilities for tourism in the mountains of Veľká Fatra and Low Tatras. The hiking paths are well highlighted and suitable for upper-intermediate hikers, but even the recreational hikers, nature – lovers and mushroom pickers can enjoy the spectacular surroundings.

During the winter time there are ski resorts like Park Snow Donovaly and Skipark Ružomberok, offering fabulous condition for skiing at the neat slopes with natural and technical snow. The neighbouring villages Liptovské Revúce and Liptovská Lúžna offer smaller ski resorts as well.

Famous cultural sites are attraction for tourists and they are located in the nearest surroundings. The worldwide known open air museum Vlkolínec protected by UNESCO World Heritage Sites is an amazing illustration of Slovak folk culture. Another attraction is a village Magurka that is considered to be the highest placed village in Slovakia. Ľudovít Fulla´s Gallery in Ružomberok is well known among the visitors, too.
